The Latitude 37.8 High School in Oakland, hired me to design and build out a school bus that could be used for a classroom and meeting space. I loved working with Latitude and Gyroscope architecture agency overseeing the larger school expansion that this bus build was a part of.

I fabricated benches with 105º obtuse angles for a relaxed and slightly reclined seated position. The support frames are built from one inch square tube steel, and the seating surfaces are glued-up redwood 2x6 boards sanded, routed and finished in shellac. Working surfaces are oak butcher block mounted on steel square tube support structures.
