Patrick's Stairs

My friend Patrick needed some stairs to access an elevated office area of his loft. I drew them up in SketchUp to the measurements he took and built them to spec. Glued and screwed with hardware hidden built from 3/4” 7-ply with 5/4” bullnose stair-tread on top.

I was happy to get to use such geat equipment for this project thanks to working out of Rob’s woodshop. Nothing like an Festool MFT table, and Domino XL joiner to make you realize you have been doing it wrong your whole life up until this moment.

The Right Tool for the Job

Working off of a clean and tidy cut list the Makita track saw makes quick work of sheet material.
